From Video Call to Surgery Day — What to Expect
Follow-up doesn't mean repeat road trips. Dr. Buinewicz conducts post-operative telehealth visits for patients in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maryland, Delaware, and Florida, so much of your recovery care can happen from home.
Your timeline is yours. Return to home and return to normal activities vary by procedure and by patient — including any health conditions you may have. You'll receive recovery guidance specific to you.
An in-person visit is required before surgery. At minimum, you'll come to our Doylestown office for a pre-operative appointment; some patients will also have an in-person consultation. Medical clearance is required for every surgical patient.
Around surgery, plan to be nearby. Depending on the type and extent of your procedure, you may need to stay in the area for a few days for in-person post-operative visits. We'll tell you exactly what your procedure requires before you commit.
