What is EMFACE®?
EMFACE® is a facial rejuvenation treatment that involves no needles, incisions or invasive techniques of any kind. It is the latest treatment from BTL, the innovative medical team behind EMSCULPT®. Like EMSCULPT®, EMFACE® uses radiofrequency (RF) and high intensity facial electromagnetic stimulation (HIFES™) to address both the skin and muscles in a single treatment. RF energy gently heats the skin, stimulating collagen and elastin production to smooth and remodel the skin tissue. HIFES™ strengthens the underlying muscles to help them better support and lift the skin. With RF and HIFES™ combined, patients can achieve dramatic reductions in signs of aging in the face.

What is the EMFACE® Procedure Like?
EMFACE® is performed using applicator pads that are placed on the skin’s surface. This is a comfortable process that requires no anesthetic. As treatment begins, the EMFACE® applicators will emit RF and HIFES™ energy. Many patients compare this feeling to a facial massage with a warm sensation. You’ll be able to lay down and relax for the duration of the 20-minute treatment session.

When Will I See Results from EMFACE®?
With EMFACE® you’ll begin to feel results immediately after your first treatment. You can expect to see visual improvements in the skin approximately 4-6 weeks after your last treatment session, which will continue to improve throughout the following weeks. We typically recommend a series of 4 treatments, each administered one week apart. Fortunately, there is no downtime or recovery period after EMFACE® treatments, so patients have no issue fitting the treatment regimen into their normal routine.
What is the Cost of EMFACE®?
The cost of your EMFACE® treatments is based on the plan that you develop with Dr. Buinewicz during your consultation. This plan includes the number and frequency of treatments based on your cosmetic goals. We can provide a specific cost after your consultation appointment.
