Radiesse®
in Bucks County, PA, and Hunterdon County, NJ
The good news is that Buinewicz Plastic Surgery's board-certified family physician Dr. Anna Buinewicz provides minimally-invasive skin treatments to turn back the hands of time for aging patients. Based in Doylestown, PA, and Flemington, NJ, Buinewicz Plastic Surgery has helped many people with dermal fillers to smooth out fines lines and wrinkles that can make you look older than you actually feel.
Radiesse® is a popular treatment choice for many who seek skin rejuvenation and the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles. Dr. Buinewicz is happy to provide treatment with Radiesse®, which promotes the increase of collagen. Collagen is a very important component of healthy skin that provides a lattice or framework for skin cells and blood vessels that carry nutrients to other cells.
Collagen is one substance that declines as you age. Radiesse® helps restore your natural levels of collagen, resulting in skin that is more radiant, youthful, and displays fewer lines and wrinkles.
What is Radiesse®?
Radiesse® is a type of dermal filler formulated to treat lines, wrinkles, and lost facial volume. It contains molecules called microspheres that are delivered via injection into deeper layers of your skin, leading to the development of supple, firm skin.
This lattice of microspheres is filled in by collagen to help firm skin that is more youthful and smooth. Radiesse® triggers your body into producing more collagen, leading to clinically proven results that are long-lasting when compared to other dermal fillers.
Benefits Of Radiesse®
Radiesse® dermal fillers are composed of a unique formulation containing calcium hydroxylapatite, one component of healthy skin. Male and female Radiesse® patients should notice more durable results, sometimes as long as two years. Since the product works by stimulating your own body's production of collagen, you will see gradual results over time.
The Radiesse® treatment process lifts and supports your skin from the deeper layers to help form skin that is firm, supple, and more elastic.
The advantages of Radiesse® treatment include:
- Natural ingredients
- Low allergy risk
- Fast treatments with results that last up to two years
- Immediate minimization of wrinkles, lines, and skin creases
- Safe alternative to cosmetic surgery
- No downtime or recovery period involved
Is Radiesse® Right For Me?
Local residents are increasingly turning to Radiesse® to treat the visible signs of facial aging because it is developing a reputation for decreasing lines and wrinkles while increasing skin thickness and elasticity.
Good candidates for Radiesse® treatment desire a more youthful face but are unwilling to undergo surgery that they view as more risky, expensive, and requiring more downtime. Radiesse® is known for being effective at treating deeper facial lines, such as those running from the nose to the corners of the mouth.
If you are an adult in sound general health, you may make a good candidate for Radiesse® treatment.
You should tell us if you are currently taking blood thinning medication or anything that could interfere with normal blood clotting. This is because these medicines can increase the chances of bleeding or bruising at injection sites. You should also inform us if you have had any other treatments like skin peels.
How Involved Is The Radiesse® Procedure?
Dr. Buinewicz performs Radiesse® injections in-office. The process only lasts a few minutes and does not require incisions or anesthesia. Although the treatment is minimally invasive, a topical numbing agent may be applied to ensure your comfort during your treatment, but patients rarely require it. Dr. Buinewicz will then inject the dermal filler into your skin using a thin needle. Sometimes, several injections are required.
