I can’t say enough about Dr. B and the entire staff. Dr. B has helped me tremendously since our first meeting. He really listens to your concerns and doesn’t discredit your thoughts or opinions on what treatment you may be seeking to address your issues. He is very knowledgeable and will give you his honest opinion about what he feels is the best course of action to address your concern. He was correct with me and I look forward to seeing the results from my recent treatment. The first one worked much better than expected. His staff is so incredibly kind and supportive. I will continue going to Dr. B for anything that sparks an interest in the future. He’s wonderful and I highly recommend him!

“My name is Karin Yukimide, and I’d like to briefly share my story. Back in January 2014, when I was 29 years old, I took the decision to get breast implants. Couple months later, I started having a lot of symptoms such as hair loss, joint pain, fever, etc. I scheduled some appointments and after some blood work, I was referred to a rheumatologist, and I finally found the cause: Lupus and Raynaud’s disease. There is no history in my family. I asked my rheumatologist and the plastic surgeon if there was any connection with the implants and both believed there was not. Since then, I’ve been managing it with daily medication.

By the end of 2019, beginning 2020, any activity I did, my breast would get red, swollen and I got a fever. Any simple physical activity such as mopping or light exercise would trigger the symptoms. With that, I was having joint pain because of the lupus as well. I was miserable. I was 100% sure that all of this was caused by the breast implants since the beginning and I was blaming myself for getting the implants, which affected my mental health.

Doing some research, I found a Facebook group called Breast Implant Illness (BII) and it only confirmed my suspicion: I knew I had to get the implants removed right away. In this group, I looked for plastic surgeon referrals and one of them was Dr. B. There were great reviews about him, his staff and the most important: he is a BII believer and it is reassuring when your doctor believes in you. We scheduled to have both implants removed and any additional tissue my body created around it.

I had my surgery in Nov/2020. It all went smoothly, no complications, and Dr. B made sure to remove the capsules as well . After that, everything improved: my inflammation levels went back to normal and I had no more fever. Lots of other symptoms slowly improved over time. I could live again.

This year I had my first baby girl and I had no issues breastfeeding her, which was my main concern with the surgery.

I’d recommend Dr. B and his staff for anyone who needs their services. They will make you feel comfortable and safe.”
