How Involved Are Facial Treatments?
Facial treatments vary depending on the purpose of the facials. Most facials have a similar application process. First, the skin is prepped for the facial then cleansed with special cleansers specifically formulated for certain skin conditions. At that point, the skin is gently exfoliated to remove dead skin cells and refresh the skin. Once that is complete, a neutralizer is applied to soothe the skin followed by a professional, gentle moisturizer.
How is the Recovery from Facial Treatments?
There is typically very little recovery from facial treatments. Depending on the type of facial treatment, the skin may be slightly sensitive immediately following each treatment but usually, resolves itself within a day or two. It is recommended that people maintain a skin care regimen that includes professional facial treatments once every few weeks in order to keep facial skin healthy and more youthful.
