Liposuction (Lipoplasty/Suction Lipectomy)
Liposuction is one of today’s most popular sought-after cosmetic surgery procedures. During the procedure, Dr. Buinewicz uses a small, stainless steel tube, called a cannula, and a powerful suction pump to create tiny tunnels through layers of fatty tissue. While the procedure is not a substitute for healthy diet and exercise, it can help to alleviate troubled areas that are unresponsive to typical weight-loss methods.
Tummy Tuck (Abdominoplasty)
Dr. Buinewicz has performed tummy tucks for many years, providing his patients with flat, toned waists. It is one of the most popular plastic surgery procedures in the nation, and it is frequently sought after by his patients.
An abdominoplasty removes the excess skin from the tummy and tightens the muscles to shape and define the abdomen. The procedure lasts between two and five hours, and general anesthesia is administered. Two incisions are required – one near the pubic area which runs from hipbone to hipbone, and the other around the navel. The surgeon stretches the skin flap over the tightened muscles, removes the excess skin, and reattaches the navel.

A thigh lift removes excess skin and fatty tissue from the upper legs, on the inner or outer thigh. There are two types of thigh lifts – medial and lateral. Medial thigh lifts target the inner thigh and are executed through a surgical incision in the inner thigh along the groin. Lateral thigh lifts target the outer thigh, lifting the thigh and buttocks. The incision is made from the groin to the back of the body.

Thigh lifts are frequently coupled with other procedures, such as breast lifts, face lifts, and arm lifts, to reduce excess skin and restore a desired proportion.

Body lifts improve shape and tone by removing loose skin from the torso and upper legs. They are often combined with other procedures such as breast lifts and arm lifts.
