EMSELLA® in Bucks County, PA and Hunterdon County, NJ
Urinary incontinence can be an embarrassing issue to talk about and live with. Thankfully, EMSELLA® offers patients the freedom to live their lives leak-free with just a few, non-invasive treatments. This non-surgical urinary incontinence treatment is perfect for women who wish to benefit from vaginal rejuvenation without any downtime or recovery period. At Buinewicz Plastic Surgery, we offer EMSELLA® treatments to patients in Bucks County, PA and Hunterdon County, NJ.
What is EMSELLA®?
EMSELLA® is an advanced non-surgical treatment for women who are suffering from the effects of urinary incontinence. Unlike other traditional treatments that require the use of cutting, anesthesia, and a lengthy recovery period, EMSELLA® uses non-invasive techniques to strengthen your pelvic floor and improve your quality of life. The secret behind EMSELLA® is the use of electromagnetic stimulation to induce muscle contractions that mimic the contractions we make manually doing Kegel exercises, making your pelvic muscles stronger and warding off urinary incontinence for the long term.
How Much Does EMSELLA® Cost?
The price of your EMSELLA® treatments will vary depending on your unique goals. Our team understands that each patient deserves tailor-made attention. And, as a result, we calculate your unique pricing during your consultation. This allows us to ensure that you pay for exactly what you need, and nothing more.
That said, we understand that EMSELLA® treatments are often a substantial financial investment, not covered by insurance. As a result, we are glad to accept a wide range of payment options, including financing through CareCredit®. If you have questions regarding your preferred payment method, we will be more than happy to speak with you regarding this, during your consultation.
Am I a Candidate for EMSELLA®?
If you’re suffering from the unwanted effects of urinary incontinence and are looking for a quick, non-surgical treatment to better your quality of life, you may be a candidate for EMSELLA®. However, the best way to determine your candidacy is to schedule a consultation. This will provide you with plenty of time to speak with our team so that we can create a treatment plan to help you achieve your goals.
How is EMSELLA® Performed?
Your EMSELLA® treatments will be performed at our Doylestown location by Dr. Annie Buinewicz. For your treatment, you will be asked to sit on a specially designed EMSELLA® chair. This chair will deliver the electromagnetic energy that stimulates the muscle contractions in your pelvic floor. Throughout your 30-minute treatment, you’ll be encouraged to get comfortable and read a magazine, swipe through your phone, or enjoy some music.
What Should I Expect from my EMSELLA® Recovery?
EMSELLA® treatments are non-surgical, non-invasive, and designed to minimize negative side effects, downtime, and recovery. Although some patients may experience mild soreness after their appointment, this will naturally and quickly resolve on its own. Our team will provide you with an extensive overview of what to expect, before your procedure.
How Long Will My EMSELLA® Results Last?
Typically, we recommend patients undergo about six EMSELLA® treatments over about three weeks. Patients generally start seeing the results of their EMSELLA® treatments after just one 30-minute session on the EMSELLA® device. While the results of your initial six treatments may last up to a year, it is recommended you come in every six to 12 months for regular maintenance treatments to maintain your desired results.
At Buinewicz Plastic Surgery, we understand how important it is to feel confident in your body. That is why we are proud to offer EMSELLA® treatments to our patients in Bucks County, PA, and Hunterdon, NJ. EMSELLA® is safe and effective for women between ages 40 and 70.
