EMSCULPT® in Bucks County, PA, and Hunterdon County, NJ
Recently more than ever, well-toned and muscled bodies have been seen as a symbol of beauty. While body sculpting is most often achieved by simply removing fat, muscle development plays an equally important role in achieving many patients desired appearance. In order to help patients decrease body fat while increasing muscle, Buinewicz Plastic Surgery offers EMSCULPT® for body contouring for men and women in Bucks County, PA, and Hunterdon County, NJ.
What is EMSCULPT®?
Eating right and exercising improves your appearance by doing two things: reducing your bodies fat content and developing your muscle tone. The fat on our bodies gives us soft contours, and the muscles give our bodies definition. Most body contouring treatments focus only on reducing fat, yet this may not produce the results a patient desires if the muscles are under-developed.
EMSCULPT® is the only non-invasive body sculpting treatment that helps you build muscle while decreasing body fat. What’s even better is that, while you need to exercise to maintain the muscle tone that you gain (and to stay in optimal health), the procedure builds muscle tone all by itself! Not only will it provide you with more definition, but an increase in muscle tissue also helps to burn excess fat more efficiently.
EMSCULPT® results in a 28% reduction in fat and a 17% increase in muscle tone.

Who is a Candidate for EMSCULPT®?
Because EMSCULPT® works on the muscles of your problem areas, it is safe and effective for almost anyone. If you are pregnant or have certain medical conditions, Dr. Buinewicz may recommend that you delay your treatments.
What is the Procedure for EMSCULPT®?
EMSCULPT® works by using High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM®) energy to cause intense contractions of the muscles. These contractions are similar to what occurs when you work out with weights or cardio exercises. The key difference is that HIFEM® energy stimulates muscle contractions that you may not be able to achieve with even the most intense workouts.
During the treatment, you lie down on the treatment table in a relaxed position. The device is placed on the treatment area, such as the abdomen, buttocks, arms, thighs or calves. You feel the muscles contract as the HIFEM® energy is applied. The sensation may feel unusual at first, only because you are not directly causing the contractions. After a minute or so, you are accustomed to the sensation and able to enjoy the procedure.
When Will I See Results from EMSCULPT®?
With EMSCULPT®, you feel the results after just one treatment. The muscles may feel tighter and you may be sore, such as when you exercise. Visible results may take two to four weeks of consistent treatments as recommended by Dr. Buinewicz.
For most patients, optimum results are seen with four sessions that are performed every two to three days. This does vary, so a consultation is the best way to learn what is the best treatment plan for you. Treatments fit easily into your schedule because there is no downtime or specific aftercare required.
What is the Cost of EMSCULPT®?
The cost of your EMSCULPT® treatments are based on the plan that you develop with Dr. Buinewicz during the consultation. The plan includes the number and frequency of treatments based on your needs. We can provide a cost after the consultation appointment. Buinewicz Plastic Surgery accepts cash, personal checks, and credit cards. We also offer financing options for EMSCULPT® treatments and our other services.
