Revance RHA®
in Bucks County, PA, and Hunterdon County, NJ

Are you frustrated by deep expression lines, wrinkles, and creases around your mid and lower face? Revance RHA® is an injectable treatment administered by Anna Buinewicz, M.D., who is a board-certified family physician. RHA® reduces the appearance of these wrinkles using a specially formulated hyaluronic acid-based gel. With locations in both Doylestown, PA and Flemington, NJ, Buinewicz Plastic Surgery is proud to offer Revance RHA® treatments to the residents of Hunterdon County, NJ, and Bucks County, PA.

What is Revance RHA®?

Revance RHA® is the first and only FDA-approved hyaluronic acid filler for dynamic folds and wrinkles. Unlike traditional dermal fillers that can appear stiff and unnatural when administered in larger amounts, Revance RHA® is specially formulated using a unique hyaluronic acid gel that flexes with your face’s natural micro-movements. This is because the formulation of hyaluronic acid in the RHA® gel most closely resembles the hyaluronic acid our bodies naturally produce to keep the skin plump and give it its signature bounce.

What Can Revance RHA® Treat?

RHA® is the newest wave of dermal filler treatments that blends seamlessly into your natural features for the perfectly refreshed and rejuvenated appearance. Dr. Buinewicz typically recommends patients to consider RHA® to treat:

  • Dynamic folds and wrinkles
  • Smile lines or nasolabial folds

RHA® fillers can provide you with the results you desire for up to 18 months. Dr. Buinewics may recommend receiving regular Revance RHA® treatments every 12 to 18 months to maintain your desired results.

Is Revance RHA® Right For Me?

Most men and women who are unhappy with early signs of aging, such as smile lines and other facial folds, are candidates for RHA® treatments. The best candidates for this injectable dermal filler are in overall good health, at least 22 years of age, and have reasonable expectations for what the treatment can achieve. Dr. Buinewicz uses injectable cosmetics like RHA® to restore volume in hollow areas of the face and enhance certain facial features, such as the lips and cheeks.

How Involved is Revance RHA® Treatment?

RHA® is a minimally invasive procedure that’s administered via injection. The specially formulated RHA® gel is injected into the target areas of the face with a very fine needle. This procedure doesn’t involve surgical incisions or anesthesia, so it usually takes less than an hour to complete. RHA® is also considered a “lunchtime” procedure for people who are looking for a quick way to enhance their appearance, and patients are free to resume their normal routine immediately after treatment.

How Long is Recovery After Revance RHA® Treatment?

Since RHA® injections don’t involve surgical incisions or anesthesia, there isn’t any downtime required following each treatment and patients can resume their normal daily routine almost immediately after their appointment. Mild swelling, bruising, and redness are normal side effects of Revance RHA® filler and should diminish over the course of 24 to 48 hours. Many patients experience noticeable improvements in their treated areas almost immediately, but as the gel continues to attract more water molecules to the skin, the results will continue to improve over the course of several weeks. The results of a single RHA® treatment can last up to 18 months and sometimes longer in certain patients.

How Much Does Revance RHA® Cost?

The cost of RHA® injections varies from patient to patient and largely depends on the extent of treatment needed to achieve the patient’s desired results. Many patients choose this treatment as a less expensive and minimally invasive alternative to comparable surgical procedures, such as brow lift or facelift surgery. Our patient coordinator will review the cost of treatment and the forms of payment we accept, which include cash, personal checks, and major credit cards. We also have financing options to make the cost of RHA® injections more affordable for our patients.

Revance RHA® FAQs

Yes, RHA® fillers are a safe way to reduce signs of aging around the mid and lower face. Revance RHA® fillers are the only FDA-approved hyaluronic acid fillers for the treatment of dynamic folds and wrinkles, meaning several clinical trials have shown that RHA® fillers are not only safe to administer but effective.

Yes. Like other hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers, RHA® fillers can be dissolved. That being said, it is not often recommended that patients get their fillers dissolved at all. Instead, our medical professionals may ask that you seek alternatives to dissolving your RHA® fillers to prevent further swelling, bruising, and discomfort.

While you will be able to see dramatic results from your RHA® filler treatments immediately after leaving your appointment, ultimate results won’t be apparent until the filler settles, and all swelling subsides. This recovery process may take up to 14 days following your treatment session with Dr. Buinewicz.

Yes, RHA® filler can be used to add a natural plump to the lips. The RHA® filler collection is similar to the Juvederm® filler collection in that there are various formulations that provide patients with the results they desire depending on their treatment area. Talk to Dr. Buinewicz about RHA® fillers for your areas of concern, and we’ll be happy to provide you with a tailored treatment plan that will help you achieve your ultimate look.
